NTA has omitted the 75% class 12 marks / top 20 percentile clause from the official JEE Main exam information bulletin. This means candidates can appear for JEE Main without the 75% restriction. However, institutional admission criteria for NITs/IIITs under JoSAA/CSAB counselling will be officially notified separately during counselling.
No. Currently, only the Session 1 registration portal is active. If a candidate wishes to appear in Session 2 (April 2027), they will need to apply separately when the Session 2 registration window opens from January 5 to February 3, 2027.
A candidate can appear for JEE Main for a maximum of three consecutive years starting from the year they passed Class 12. Students who passed in 2025 or 2026, or who are appearing in 2027, are eligible. There is no age limit.
